Core Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, dressing, and dietary intake.
- Clinical Assistance: Support doctors and senior medical staff during examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical procedures.
- Health Tracking & Monitoring: Watchfully monitor patient conditions, document updates or changes in health status, and immediately report critical shifts to the medical team.
- Family & Patient Education: Inform patients and relatives regarding treatment pathways, medication schedules, and post-discharge self-care, while offering solid emotional support.
- Care Strategy Development: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design and execute personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Medical Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential medical charts in compliance with strict healthcare privacy laws.
- Sanitation & Infection Control: Execute rigorous hygiene protocols and infection-control measures to guarantee a safe, sterile environment.
- Crisis Management: Identify medical emergencies rapidly, applying immediate first aid and life-support interventions until emergency physicians take over.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible for this international role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a relevant Healthcare Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid nursing registration and license authorized to practice in Italy (or be eligible for immediate registration).
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven clinical experience in a hospital, nursing home, or caregiving environment.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English, alongside functional fluency in Italian (both written and verbal) to ensure smooth communication with local patients.
